LINEA 77 To Release Collection Of Early Recordings In January

November 24, 2006

Italian political hardcore metallers LINEA 77 will release a new CD, entitled "Venereal 1995", on January 29, 2007 via Earache Records. The album is a 12-song retrospective the band's earliest recordings, mostly in their native language, along with two newly recorded songs in English.

The roots of LINEA 77 are firmly planted in the politico-hardcore scene and many of the tracks are culled from the numerous benefit compilations the band appeared on in the late '90s.Without sacrificing their independence one iota, the hard-working ethics and fan-friendliness of the band have seen them steadily rise from the ranks of the humble squat circuit to the national Top 10 charts in Italy with their last studio effort, 2005's "Available for Propaganda".
